SIE is looking for a skilled and experienced Senior Structural Engineer with a strong background in bridge design and transportation infrastructure projects to join our growing team.

SIE is looking for a skilled and experienced Senior Structural Engineer with a strong background in bridge design and transportation infrastructure projects to join our growing team.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the planning, analysis, and design of bridge and transportation structures.
- Manage structural engineering tasks for local and state infrastructure projects
- Prepare and review construction documents, plans, specifications, and engineering calculations.
- Perform structural analysis and design of bridges, retaining walls, culverts, and related transportation structures.
- Ensure designs comply with all applicable standards and codes
- Provide technical leadership and quality control reviews for project deliverables.
- Support project management activities including scope development, scheduling, budgeting, and client communications.
- Active New York and New Jersey PE License required
- Bachelor’s in Civil Engineering
- At least 10-15 years of recent bridge structural design experience
- Familiarity with NYSDOT, TBTA, PANYNJ, NYCT, MNR, LIRR, and other NY and NJ agencies
- Proficiency in structural analysis and design software such as CSiBridge, SAP2000, STAAD, LEAP Bridge, or similar.
- Strong Microstation/AutoCAD skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Driver's License
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
