Bridge Inspection Team Leader

SIE is looking for a skilled and experienced Bridge Inspection Team Leader to lead bridge inspection projects for bridge and sign structure inspection projects.

SIE is looking for a skilled and experienced Bridge Inspection Team Leader to lead bridge inspection projects for bridge and sign structure inspection projects.
Responsibilities:
- Leads project, inspection teams and coordinates teams and equipment
- Prepare in-office support for field inspections, such as development of inspection documentation forms prior to field work
- Perform field inspection duties and subsequent inspection reports in compliance with Client Requirements
- Client field liaison for field activities
- Enforce safe field operations
- Provides technical guidance to other staff members
- Travel to required project location(s)
Qualification & Skills:
- Active New York and New Jersey PE License required
- Bachelor’s in Civil Engineering
- At least 4 years of recent bridge experience in inspection as a Team Leader
- Current FHWA/NHI Bridge Inspection Training (2 Week Bridge Safety Training, NHI-130055) and/or Refresher Course (NHI-130053)
- Current FHWA/NHI Ancillary Structures Training (NHI-130087)
- OSHA 30
- Physically capable of performing tasks associated with the position. Must be comfortable working at heights on ladders, scaffolding, and various aerial lifts and access equipment
- Familiarity with NJTA, NJDOT, PANYNJ, NYSDOT and other NY and NJ agencies
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong Microstation/AutoCAD skills
- Driver's License
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
