SIE is looking for an enthusiastic, diligent, and proactive IT Support Specialist. This position would report to our Manhattan office. This is a full-time in-person role, reporting to SIE offices five days per week.
 
Responsibilities: 
  • Provide first-line technical support to staff, resolving hardware, software, and network-related issues
  • Ensure high-quality, personalized IT support with a focus on a seamless user experience
  • Escalating tickets and working directly with in-house IT team and MSP on resolving issues
  • Provide clear and responsive communication on the status and tasks and issues
  • Able to handle multiple tasks at the same time and complete tickets on timely basis based on priority and need
  • Assisting in-office and remote staff in resolving IT related technical issues 
  • Managing requests through email ticketing system
  • Documenting troubleshooting processes
  • Setting up new equipment such as monitors, desktops, laptops and cell phones. 
  • Setting up new user accounts on Active Directory, Microsoft 365, etc
  • Performs other related duties as assigned

Qualifications & Skills:  
  • High School Diploma or equivalent 
  • 3+ Years of Information Technology knowledge and experience 
  • Experience setting up equipment
  • Organizational skills to ensure all IT issues are resolved and equipment is logged properly  
  • Can troubleshoot Microsoft 365 related issues
  • Understanding of Active Directory and Group Policy
  • Familiarity with server hardware, firewalls, and networking
 
Expected salary range is $52,000-$65,000 annually. Actual compensation will be dependent on the individual’s qualifications, skills, experience, and physical work location.
