SI Engineering, P.C. (SIE) is a full-service consulting engineering firm based in downtown Manhattan providing services in civil, structural, transportation engineering, bridge & facility inspection, construction management & inspection and lighting design. We are engaged in local community improvement projects to large, high-profile, multi-billion-dollar infrastructure projects with a strong reputation of delivering a wide range of projects for our clients in the public sector.
SIE is looking for an Office Engineer to support REI Services for New York City Department of Design and Construction (DDC) infrastructure projects.
Responsibilities:
- Processing change orders
- Processing contractor payments
- Preparing field assessments quality review
- Preparing takeoffs
- Review and incorporate historical data from contractors to produce productivity reports
- Review/ track RFI’s and following-up on status
- Preparing and maintaining project documentation such as meeting minutes, sign-in sheets, etc
- Document control
- Assist with estimates
- Other duties as assigned
Qualification & Skills:
- 10+ years of REI/CM experience on infrastructure projects
- 5+ years of experience working on NYCDDC projects preferred
- Knowledge and experience with web-based data management software, such as PIMS, Procore, ASITE, ProjectWise, etc
- Bachelor’s in Engineering
- OSHA 30
Expected salary range is $120,000 - $145,000 annually. Actual compensation will be dependent on the individual’s qualifications, skills, experience, and physical work location.
